01.Flash is often used to build the home page. The problem is that these pages are built completely in Flash and search engines don't see Flash content, so your page will not be indexed. The best thing to do is not to register a page done completely in Flash. The solution is to create a HTML version and link both pages from the home page, but in this case we are not talking about optimising a Flash site anymore. It is also possible to create layers on top of the Flash page that are visible to the search engines and hidden to the visitors. We suggest NOT to do it: search engines don't like invisible content at all.

02.The second problem is when Flash is used for the navigation bar. Links built with Flash are invisible to the spiders. When you sign up your home page on a search engine, the spider should follow the links from your navigation system and reach all the pages. If your site has not HTML links as well, the rest of your site will be completely ignored. You can correct this by having a link to the sitemap on every page.
