Many SEO experts claim that having keywords in the name of files and folders increases the PageRank.
This can be sort of true, but don't limit to see it only related to the ranking: look at it related to the usability and simplicity of the site as well. Don't forget, your site must be built for people and content must be written for readers.
The use of keywords for names is useful for files, folders, images, files to be downloaded and any other file available on the site.
If you don't have too many pages, it is better not to use folders and load the files in the root of the site: search engines consider these files more.
For the best optimisation, use only 3-5 keywords per page. Don't use 10 different words, they will not produce any effect on the PageRank.

Optimise best your home page for the keywords you think are the most important.
