Keyword density

Custom Search

One of the most simple strategies to climb to a higher position in the search engines is to work on the keyword density of a specific page.
The term "keyword" refers to words and phrases a user types in using a search engine.
The keyword density is the relation between the number of times a word is contained and the total number of words in the text of a page.
For example, if your keyword is present only 1 time in a page, its keyword density is lower than another word that is repeated 4 times.
If a keyword is repeated more frequently on a page, probably a search engine will think that the page is more relevant for that keyword, so the positioning of the page for that keyword will improve.

How to improve the keyword density

01.Before adding a new page to your site, think about the keywords a visitor could use to find it. Choose the more relevant keywords for the page you will build.

02.After creating a list of keywords, don't write them in your content without making sense. Search engines could penalise your site because of that. Instead, create sentences using those keywords. For example, if your page must have a good ranking for the keyword "keyword density", then keep on repeating keyword density in the document instead of using synonyms. Use common sense though or the page will be unpleasant to read: never forget, the site is for the visitors and not for the search engines. You can examine this page, for example. It is optimised for keyword, keyword density and search engine. Improving the keyword density on your pages you will certainly improve your positioning.
